GREG WYLIE NAMED DIRECTOR, CREATIVE SERVICES
FOR WARNER BROS. DOMESTIC TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION
Burbank, Calif. (May 11, 2006) – Greg Wylie has been named
Director, Creative Services for Warner Bros. Domestic Television
Distribution (WBDTD), it was announced today by Susan Kantor,
Senior Vice President, Marketing, Warner Bros. Domestic
Television Distribution and Telepictures Productions.
In this position, Wylie will report to
Kantor and work closely with the On-Air and Print Art &
Advertising units of Warner Bros. Television Group’s Creative
Services department. He will supervise the creation and
production of marketing materials for first-run and off-network
syndicated television series distributed by WBDTD. He will
be responsible for sales presentations (on-air and print),
collateral materials, trade and consumer advertising campaigns,
photo shoots, and special projects for the division, ensuring
brand integrity for all domestic product and platforms.
Additionally, Wylie will manage WBDTD’s
relationship with outside service providers, including agencies,
graphic designers and photographers. He will work with station
relations managers to produce promotional materials for
series, and will also serve as the WBDTD marketing point
person for planning related to industry conventions, such
as NATPE, Promax and SNTA, among others.
Before joining WBDTD, Wylie served as an
on-air promotions consultant to Twentieth Television, where
he worked closely with Kantor. In that position, he oversaw
the production of on-air and radio promo campaigns for the
“The Simpsons,” “24,” “King of the Hill” and “COPS” in off-network
syndication.
Prior to that, Wylie worked at Universal
Television Productions from 1999-2004, starting as Manager,
Photography, and, later, serving as Director, Photography
and Creative Services. From 1998-1999, Wylie was Manager,
On-Air Promotions, for Studios USA Domestic Television,
after serving as Manager, Accounting for two years.
Before moving to California, Wylie was
Vice President of Foggy Notions, LLC in his home state of
Texas, where he managed the day-to-day operations of seven
franchise stores for music retailer CD Warehouse and developed
advertising campaigns for the national chain.
